Authors note: I want to get really serious with you lads and ladies for a minuet and tell you that I love you, and I don't mean that in a playful, ("Yah, your my friends, I love you!"), way, I mean that in the most sincere way possible, like I would carry you out of the deepest of pits to the highest of mountains way. I LOVE YOU :)....

...OK, now that the mushy stuff has been said, *wipes tears of love off cheeks, you are probably confused on what you just read, but don't worry I will explain. I made this poem, yes it is a poem, in a new format I suppose, I mean I made it up to be in a poem style I just sort of came up with on my own, or at least I hope it's original, if it's not please don't get mad at me, I don't read poetry, I just on occasion read books that rhyme...
cough..(Doctor Seuss)...cough, cough! If you want to make the poem more interesting read it again and answer the questions or reply on how certain lines made you feel or what kind of memories/images did you think of when you were reading through my poem.
Anyway, tell me what you lads and ladies think.

  2. How many of you hand-wash your dishes? Probably not many of you. You probably use a dish washer. some of you might even ask what hand-washing dishes is. Some of you might say hand-washing dishes is so forever ago. My family hand-washes dishes because one, our dishwasher doesn't work and two, hand-washing gets the dirty stuff off better. For those of you who don't know what hand-washing dishes is, I'll explain it to you.

Hand washing-dishes is washing dishes with your hands. I'm pretty sure you got that far. Here's how it works. There is a pile of dishes on the counter-top and it is your job to wash them. This is what you do: you need to fill up the sink with warm water. Then you pour a little bit of soap in and mix it around. Next you're going to take some of the dishes off the counter and put them in the water (I prefer to start with the plates or bowls). Next, you are going to take a cloth and wipe the dishes clean. After that , you put the dishes in the other side of the sink and rinse them off with water. Then you put them in a rack to let them dry.

That's it. It is fairly easy once you have been doing it for years. If you hand-wash your dishes, please let me know. I don't want to be lonely :(

    1. Hey Nat! Well, we sorta hand wash ours. Our dishwasher really only sanitizes, (it's really old,) so we have to get the grime off before we put the dishes in. So... You could say that we do: 1/2 dishwasher and 1/2 hand wash. :)

    2. We hand wash all the plastic dishes and all the big pots or pans. We finally got a new dishwasher, but before that, we were hand washing everything.
I get what you mean about hand washing getting it cleaner. I think it's also just simpler. When I'm told to load the dishwasher, I usually end up just hand washing a lot of it because it's so simple to do.

We wash our bigger dishes by hand. For a couple years we washed by hand because our dishwasher didn't work, but then we got a new one that works fairly well. I actually like washing dishes sometimes, it's kinda fun. :)

    Monopoly & Love.

    I have never played monopoly.
I guess it is pretty great for those who play it right.
If you play it correctly then it may leave you victorious. Sometimes even if you play it right you still lose. If you suck at the game in the first place then you lose anyway. But, there is hope for everyone, you can always learn to play monopoly. And in the end you just might win.
Switch out the word monopoly and replace it with love.

  4. I am going to my cousin’s house for a sleepover today! I am SO excited! My cousin Alayna and I are alike in many ways. We love Michael Vey, (or most any science fiction books,) we love acting, singing, and preforming, and we both get super crazy when we get together ☺.
We also, (of course,) have our differences. She likes to eat healthy, me…. Not so much into that ☺. She is a really good at sitting and listening to people talking….
I have to get into the conversation or I get bored, (most of the time.) Anyway, I won’t bore you with the whole list. But what I’ve learned from knowing Alayna is: Even though you have many differences, that doesn’t mean that you can’t get along. You can use those differences to shake things up I guess, but that will not erase the things that you have in common. Embrace your differences; those things are what make you who you are after all! True Friends will not care about the things that you do differently, they will embrace that it is who you are. Don’t change who you are just so that others will like you, be yourself!

I posted a poem a little bit ago but it was late, so i'm going to post it again:

    Oh,
how many times have we "perfect beings" talked to our friends about the quirks and dorks of our world,
    how they walk,
    how they talk,
what they do to gain the label "socially awkward".

Now, what if your friend that you were talking to,
    in secret,
    torments himself too,
he doubts himself because he has one of those quirks that you've been bad-mouthing about.
    Imagine that,
you've been scorning those "lesser beings" more than a little in front of your friend,
who now feels like he - by his best friend - is belittled

    The point is,
gossip not only hurts those you talk about,
but also those you talk to! because more often than not,
    they're dorks too.

I love the simple truth of this poem, Trevor. More often than not, the quirk you are belittling is part of your own life too, one of your own attributes that you have not yet realized because you are blinded by you own "perfectness" as you emphasize in line two. This is an amazing poem. I almost wish you had saved it for poetry month.

  7. And here's today's slice!

"for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction"
    - Ben Franklin

this law/quote is more deep than you probably first thought, I like to say " there is opposition in all things"

If you see stinging nettle then more often than not you will also find lambs ear nearby,
for every bad guy there is a good guy,
for every super villain there is a super hero,
when voting for the president of the US does everyone vote for the same person?
up right and forward are balanced by down left and back,
    there's addition and subtraction,
    there's multiplication and division,
    there's squared and square root,
so if this is true then if you want to remove something just replace it with the opposite,
such as replacing bad thoughts with good thoughts, or bad feelings with good feelings.
    Ben Franklin was a Genius.

    1. I agree! And just think: If there were no opposites, there would be no up or down, happiness, love, joy, peace, solitude, or any of the opposites. The world would be empty. Life wouldn't exist because death wouldn't either. It hurts my head just thinking about it!

    2. KyAnne D. P-1

That's really cool. If you think about it, you need the opposite of everything in order to have that thing. Like, if you only had sweet and not sour, then how would you know what sweet was? If you had never done bad, you wouldn't know what good was. Things like that. :) Also it was Newton who said that wasn't it? Not Franklin, though he was a genius.

Even the littlest problem will bug me.
Like a little gnarled knot on a little gnarled tree.
If a sentence doesn't make sense,
    It makes my muscles tense.
If something bad happens with a friend,
for themselves they'll have to fend
If this is something that you agree,
    is a problem for you and me;

A couple days ago, I came across a series of children's books that I made when I was in 4th or 5th grade. The book series was called "Frank and Wallace"; and it was about a Kangaroo named Frank and an Ostrich named Wallace who were best friends. Each book was about 15-20 pages long and just consisted of an adventure that Frank and Wallace had in one day. However, the adventures weren't something big; they were things like finding a pencil or learning how to hop. I guess it's kind of like comic book, in a way, because the only words in the book are the speech bubbles when Frank and Wallace said something. I thought it was so fun to read the books! I was very amused at the childish humor I had when I was in 4th or 5th grade and I found myself laughing out loud many times! Reading that book series really inspired me to do something more with the series. I want to be a children's story author when I grow up, and I think this would be perfect to someday publish, and edit the books to make better and more grammatically correct and even continue on with the series! I don't know why, but I just LOVED reading them! They were so funny!

  10. Those Winter Sundays
    Robert Hayden, 1913 - 1980
Sundays too my father got up early
and put his clothes on in the blueblack cold,
then with cracked hands that ached
from labor in the weekday weather made
banked fires blaze. No one ever thanked him.

I’d wake and hear the cold splintering, breaking.
When the rooms were warm, he’d call,
and slowly I would rise and dress,
fearing the chronic angers of that house,

    Speaking indifferently to him,
who had driven out the cold
and polished my good shoes as well.
What did I know, what did I know
of love’s austere and lonely offices?

I was looking for poems and found this and my brothers name is robert hayden hunter

  11. I see my world change from words to a scene of an ocean, I see myself swimming, I see myself being rescued, I see myself flying, I see a thousand majestic fairies dance before my eyes, I see mermaids with shimmering green tails as they teach me how to breathe under water, I see myself fighting as a disguised girl in a tragic war, I see creatures unknown to man. I hear my name called, I blink my eyes, and all the oceans, mermaids, fairies and fighting has disappeared. I look up from my book and see the pale walls and the cement floor. I carefully set my book down, for now I have to go face the real world. Then I will go back into the much desired world of magic and of imagination, a world were anything is possible.

The thought of reading books has been overlooked so many times. People think movies are way better than any book, but what I have found, is that the books helps arouse creativity and imagination while the movie gives it to you. Also, with the book comes a packaged deal while the movie cuts out parts that they think are not necessary for the whole of the movie. It's the small things and details that make the imagery all the more real.

    My Slice of Life

I just finished a really cool origami tessellation called star puff that took me ~5 hours to do.
First, I made an equilateral triangle grid of 32 divisions on a square piece of paper.
Second, I found the center hexagon that the triangles made and folded six 120-degree pleat intersections to make a hexagon that popped out of the paper.
Third, I took one of the pleats on the center hexagon, counted out 1 pleat length(one triangle side), and made another 120-degree pleat intersection that would become the corner of another hexagon.
Fourth, I did that for the five other pleats to make a star-shape with a hexagon center.
Fifth, I made two other pleats on the points of the star to make another hexagon just like the center but that had two of the sides under the center one.
Sixth, I did that for the other five hexagons that make a ring around the center hexagon.
Seventh, I treated each one of the secondary hexagons as the center one and repeated steps 3-6 to make another ring around the secondary hexagons.
Eighth, I repeated step 7 and made a third ring around the center hexagon.
Ninth, I took every corner of all of the hexagons in the whole tessellation and folded triangle twists on them.
Tenth, I took the center hexagon again, and, because every two triangle twists are connected, I folded each pair in half to make a hexagon in the center.
Eleventh, I repeated step 10 on each corner of the center hexagon.
Twelfth, I pushed up each hexagon from the back of the paper and pushed in the sides to make 3D stars that pop out about 1.5' in. off the paper. On the back of the paper, there are deep potholes where the stars are on the paper.

    Until next time!
    Over and out...

  13. Trek 2013 was where I met my best friend. I was 15 and her 14; though there is an age gap it doesn't really matter to us. We were trek sisters and everyone thought we went into the event best friends just because we were practically attached at the hip for the 3 day adventure. I wish I could go back to that time, when we first became close; at least I visit it often in my dreams.
Tonight I am going over to her house to hang out. I'm sitting in my bed and texting her but also having flashbacks on our few days of messy hair, old fashioned clothes, and zero makeup; the description of our appearance could fit almost perfectly to when we were little kids. In a way it's almost like we've been bestfriends since childhood.. At least that's how it feels.

Here is one of my most favorite quotes/poems ever. It inspires me to work a little harder at being the best I can possibly be.

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. FORGIVE THEM ANYWAY.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. BE KIND ANYWAY.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. SUCCEED ANYWAY.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. BE HONEST AND SINCERE ANYWAY.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. CREATE ANYWAY.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. BE HAPPY ANYWAY.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. DO GOOD ANYWAY.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. GIVE YOUR BEST ANYWAY.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. IT WAS NEVER BETWEEN YOU AND THEM ANYWAY.

Friday the 13. Does that not thrill you? The day that is said to be cursed. Thrilling to me. I am odd that way. I look for an adventure in every little thing. My brother is scared of going downstairs alone in the dark, at night and to prove there is nothing I go down without any light, none at all. I love the night, the darkness of it. I love staying up and looking at the stars. I love reading a book and to feel a thrill when a mystery appears. I love how still it is, how peaceful. I am a night owl, in that way. I could stay up all night. The dark holds mysteries and questions, it hides persons and adventures. It is scary and yet not all at the same time. For me that is thrilling, just like Friday the 13 is. Sure it may not be cursed but it is the mysteries it holds, the reasons for why and how and when. So Friday the 13 to me is thrilling, the darkness is an adventure and everything is a mystery.

Ever had a life long friend that your parents started? That's the case with my family and the family we've been friends with since their oldest was a baby, who is now 23 or 24-years- old. Yeah, we've been friends for a long time and we've seen each other through a lot of things. We used to live one block away from each other, but now they live in Draper. And some how we still find/make opportunities to see each other.

One of me favorite memories with this family, and while we are all friends each of use children have a certain child that we're friends with, is that there are two big cherry trees on a corner halfway between our house and their old house. When they used to live in that house, us children would meet at the "Cherry Corner" and either eat a bunch of cherries, climb the cherry trees, do something all together, or we'd separate and do something with our friend. It was so much fun.

Now we're all growing up and have done a lot of things. A few have been on missions, some have gone or are going to college, and some of us are still pretty young. But we've had some amazing adventures and created some amazing memories together. I love these people.

Last month or February 13th Friday, We went to camp at this beach and just before dark we set up our tents. Just a few moments later there was a big storm that blow the tent down. Someone was in a tent and it made him roll down the beach because of the wind! It poured down rain while we cooked dinner and the plates and spoons flew off the table like they were alive! One of the leaders said that we should pack up and camp at the church. But one of the tents poles was stuck and we couldn't jam it down! It toke 13 scouts and a few leaders to push the pole down then it finally worked! We went inside of the car then we went to 7 eleven and I don't go there that often I put the Slurpee inside the Double Gulp instead of the Slurpee cups and the clerk and all of us just laughed. We parked at the church and we slept on the stage. It was 4:00 a.m and I couldn't sleep because of the (party scouts). In Hawaii there is a lot of bugs and creatures in some places. I saw a rat craw next to me I opened my eyes I jumped up so high it looked that i can fly and everyone laughed. That was my Friday the 13th experience and it was fun but sometimes it can get a little crazy.

I haven't camped in such treacherous conditions, but I have camped in below freezing temperatures. We couldn't get the tent poles undone because both the poles and our hands were frozen. We would usually go to Wendy's and get the dollar menu with a large chocolate frosty. I still remember keeping my companion up because I was afraid that spiders were going to crawl into my sleeping bag and suck on my blood (which never happened.)

A reply I found myself writing to ‘Tiffany Pratt’s Dream’ back on Day 5. I would have put it as a comment but found complications with the comment box seeing as how this comment would have been extremely long.
‘That dream brings to my remembrance one I have experienced. There were two men on a stage. One was dressed in white and the other, in black. There were nine kids who were all children of the one dressed in white, all of which the man in black wanted for his own. Both men had come to the agreement that the children were allowed to choose who they wanted to be their guardian.
All nine kids were on the stage at once. The man in white said "I have a chore for each of you. It will take a year or so, but when you are done, come back and I will give you something." The man then began telling them each individually what their chore was in which three children obeyed with enthusiasm, three were unsure if they wanted to do it, and three didn't want to do it because it was too hard. The man in black, seeing that three children didn’t want to do their chore, began talking to them and convinced them that he would allow them to get the same reward as those who would do their chores but would not have them do anything to get it. These children listened to the man in black and walked over to his side, showing they had chosen him as their guardian. The man in white was exceedingly sad because he had lost one third of all his children, but nonetheless, allowed them to choose him.
Immediately, the man in black began plotting with his now three children to do all they could to make the remaining children give in and choose him. He then sent his kids to follow the others and to watch for all the mistakes they did. After some time, they returned with some pleasing reports on the children doing chores. One by one, all the children came into the room except for one that was still working on his chore. By means of the man in black’s kids and their reports, they were able to draw over to his side every single child that was in the room. One gave in by being bribed a piece of his favorite candy. Another gave in to guilt when the three told everyone a mistake the child doing the chore had made and hadn’t corrected it. For every child, there was a designated weakness they possessed; for every child that had a recognizable weakness, they would choose the man in black as their guardian. The man in white could hardly bear the sadness that he felt seeing as how he had lost all guardianship of almost all his children. He was also sad because he doubted the last one would choose him since he remembered him as being stubborn and prideful and had never really listened to him. Then, the last child that worked on his chores the longest came in. For this child, the three had found no weakness for. This child, the only and last child, chose the man in white. All the children asked him how he was able to complete his chore with no mistakes and why he had chosen the man in white seeing as how he had nothing physical to give as a reward. His only reply he made was this: “Because I love my Father and all I have ever wanted was his love.” With that he hugged his tear-stained father and never left his side again.’

Today my best friend and I went to the movie theater too see Cinderella. This was probably the first time I’ve been the movies in two or three years. No joke.
I always want to go to the movies but am never able too. I can’t go with my family because my sister has something really similar to Down syndrome and doesn’t do very well at the movies, and my brother is three and just wants to run around. All my friends go the premiers with their families or other friends, so I never have anyone to go with. This results in me missing out on seeing a ton of movies. I usly wait to see if the movies come onto Netflix, but that doesn’t always happen.
So that’s a slice of my life.

We skipped out on 'The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies' because my brother is on a mission and was really upset that we saw the second without him. We don't go the movie theater a lot as well because my parents like to know what is in the movie first before we begin watching it.

Well I forgot to copy my writing and it just got deleted. So I guess I'll write it again.
It's so great to have family like we do. I personally am so greatful for the family that I have. It's amazing to think how life here is so short. We aren't going to have forever with them here. Of course we will in the long run and they will always be there for you, but I feel like we need to be greatful and take edvantige of very day that we have with them. And not only spending time with our family here but we have so much bigger of a family then we know. We have so many people watching out for us. And most of the time we don't even know that they are there.
On another note, it's amazing how sometimes the day goes by so fast and other times it goes by so slow. We all know the things that we should do or the things that we need to do but not always end up doing. Today was just one of those days were it went so slow and didn't get anything done. But that's always a choice. I'll edmit that I didn't spend as as much time throughout the day today thinking of meaningful things to write. Or something that could make a difference. But hopefully I'll have something really good tomorrow.

  29. Prom is overtaking my mind. My daughter had a special date with a group of students, but they cancelled (more like bailed) last minute on her and her special friend, so I spent all of Thursday night getting my son ready to go with the group. He is taking the friend, and my daughter's teacher found someone willing to step in with only two days to prepare, so all is not lost. It has been crazy though. And today, I got to see her nominated as Honorary Prom Queen. The entire auditorium jumped out of their seats in excitement and support for her. I hope she wins. And one more Prom thing: I have a chaperone companion this go around. Good times ahead cutting up a rug at Liahona Prom!

Although I love creating new things, I expected us to look over more detailed things that we could invent ourselves. However, I did enjoy the fight simulator because we made airplanes and flew them on a run way. For some reason, they were fascinated by the way I could throw the plane gently. I still have the plane with me. I was hoping that there would be an actual simulator that we could try out, but there was not. The next day, I had slept over at Park City for a priest laurel retreat. That was fun too.

This day I had a surgery. That's why I didn't write this day, or the next day, and so on. You see, I broke my collarbone skiing, and so the basically had to put my bone in place and screw a metal plate in to keep it in place. I had to get up at 5:00 AM! I wasn't aloud to eat or drink. We got to the hospital around 6:15, but didn't actually start the surgery for another couple hours. They just kept asking questions and leaving, and then a new person would come in, and they'd ask the same question, and then they'd leave. It was really boring. They put an IV in my arm to put liquid in me since I hadn't drank anything. They put the sleeping stuff through the IV, and that knocked me out pretty quick. When I woke up I was in the recovery room- a room where they put you until you wake up- and I couldn't see anything because my vision was blurry. After they took me back to my little room where my mom was, I basically just sat there until I was awake enough to leave. So about three hours. Yeah, it took me a while to wake up. So that's what happened.

I believe everyone has had those frightfully horrible days, those days that make you cringe when you think back to them, let me tell you about (possibly) one of my worst days. So, I decided to reconnect with an old friend several years back, he had recently moved a few towns over, after I talked to him on the phone, I headed over. They lived in a rather large apartment complex, so me and him decided that we would explore after dinner. My mother had brought my sister, and my friends brother and her played in the park a few yards away from his apartment. Just an hour or so after we had gotten there, my sister tumbled off the side of the slide and landed on her wrist. With a terrifying crunch, she screamed, and when she stood up; well... I don't want to go into too much detail, let's just say, it was mortifying. I stayed behind while she was taken to the hospital. Turns out she broke both bones in her wrist.

Him and I decided to explore as planned, we brought Nerf guns along and decided to "murder invisible zombies" to take our minds off of that, absolutely horrid sound of bones snapping. It grew dim, and silent - Which made it much better for us.
We got lost in our imaginations, and we decided to head to the area which held a model home and the pool. But as soon as we charged out of the alleyway, our hearts dropped. At least three squad cars and several officers were there to meet us. With handguns drawn, one of them screamed at us, "Put the guns down, and get on your hands and knees!" I was petrified, I could barely tell what was happening, my friend did as he was asked, but I was having an anxiety attack, after a few short moments he repeated himself, much louder. This time I did as I was told, and when he came up to me, he asked if I was deaf. Long story short, my mom got home just as the situation was being sorted out. We left that day, with my sister in a cast, and me basically shivering with fear.

Friday. My third day of youth conference. This had to be a good day right? Fridays are good days but I had hit rock bottom. The call of the ocean was driving me mad! Looking at my schedule on a pice of paper I noticed there was some free time. Leaping into the air I rejoiced! Finally I would have a chance at catching some fish! I stopped anyone that would listen showing them the pice of paper wile exclaiming “fish!”. They never even had enough time to see what I was talking about before I would leave to show the next person. After appearing like a lunatic to at least seven people I bolted to my room to get my gear ready. Word quickly got around that the lunatic was going fishing. Other fishing enthusiasts got wind of this so they left to get their gear. They wanted to come with me so that they could make use of my knowledge, experience, and small hint of madness. There were however a few problems. First it was mid day witch is the worst time of all for fishing, second was that we only had 45 minutes leaving very little time for us to work our way up the food chain, and thirdly we did not have access to the docks forcing us to keep to the shallow waters. These factors were bad but they were not going to stop me. I arrived by the docks with a small band of fisherman following behind me. As I put my gear together they stared at me. Finally a girl named Jamie asked “so what should we do?”. I smiled. The only thing I like better than fishing is teaching other people who want to learn how to fish. Because of this I was more interested in their success than my own. I told them to try a few lures wile I tried to catch them some fresh bait. Once I came back with freshly caught bait and distributed it amongst them we were all getting bites. We didn't have the time to set up for bigger 5-50 pound fish but we all had fun catching and releasing a bunch of little fish. It was a good day.

I was searching for a snack today. Nothing could be found. I wanted something salty and crunchy, but nothing fit the bill. My mom, being so sweet, made me chips. But I didn't pat off enough of the oil that they were fried in and they quickly got unappetizing. This was disappointing. But then I remembered that I have goldfish from youth conference. 45. Most teenagers want to keep their parents from knowing what they do and what their interests are. The reason I do is because I’d like them not to develop interest in it as well. Like for example, the other day. I was reading a DIY article on how to make a compact metal melting forge. I had no interest in making it, I was just intrigued. But I left the tab open or something and my father saw it. He almost had to bribe me to build this forge. Three days later, the forge was completely assembled. And then my dad asks me what I’d want to make, melt, or forge with it. My reply is something like "I thought you’d have an idea of what to do with the forge I wasn’t planning to make." To get into perspective, what would you do with a metal melting forge?

Um let’s see, melt and heat up metal?
What do you do with hot metal?
    Make a sword!

Well ok then, your dad just started what now just seems crazy and you just might have to follow up with it. So I proceeded to research metallurgy and sword smiting. But all of this raises one question.

"what would you do with a sword."
Well gee I don’t know, maybe I’d strike things with it I guess.
    That’s a "great" answer.
Or maybe you could pour it into a mold.
    A mold of what exactly?
Well, an axe head. You could make an axe!

Think about this, if your friends found out you have an arsenal of homemade weapons, prepare to lose some and be called a barbarian. If you found a way of making something useful, chance is that you could buy it for less than it takes to make it. At least for now I’m brainstorming to find some practical use for my forge. Just make sure that whatever you look at online is something you would be comfortable doing in our real lives.

My best Christmas ever! It all started about two weeks before Christmas Eve, and my family was finally ready to get a dog. A lady Mom knew had called to say she had a 6 week old Pomeranian Shih Tzu mix that she couldn’t take care of, since she had broken her leg and would be in a cast for the next few months, and she was willing to give us him for free. We agreed to come and meet this puppy as a family. And we loved him! He was a beautiful and friendly grey and white puppy with lots of energy and lots of kisses for us kids. And as we got ready to leave our parents calmly explained to both the lady and us children that this just wasn’t going to work. They promised we would keep looking, but we were crushed; to us this puppy was perfect. But life moved on and the puppy was mostly forgotten. Many days later on Christmas Eve our parents sent us to bed with excited thoughts of what tomorrow would bring. The morning came and we rushed to the tree. And stared with amazement at the blue kennel with a bright red bow atop, and as the door was opened a cute and friendly grey and white Pomeranian Shih Tzu mix puppy came out to love his new family. Our parents had truly surprised us and this because my favorite and most memorable Christmas EVER!

If we don't take time to see the good in something or someone, you won't be able to see their true beauty inside. Don't forget about the beauty that surrounds us. Having a good attitude about things can really impact your life. Let's say you were in London with your family. If you have a bad attitude about walking around and seeing the sights, you wont remember the beauty of the architecture or Art that everyone else was able to enjoy.
