ReplyDeleteA Mysterious Dream:
What does it mean?
Dark rooms covered with gray and black walls consume me. Not enough light is filling the room. A group discussion has taken place in the intent of making a plan. 12 people are lined around the table, one including me. As I gaze around the room, there is is a sense of danger behind a door that everyone fears. Yet no one cares to notice, but continues to look forward.
A woman dressed in a black suit walks forward, followed by a man also dressed in black. The woman says,
"Here we are on a mission to discover the best possible solution to fight our enemy. No one has been able to conquer the darkness on the other side of the door. Today, however, we have created a microchip that will access the mind and trigger a numbing effect that will cause your body to be stronger, faster, and build an immunity to fight our adversary." She points to a man across the room that has been experimented on with the micro chip. His eyes are dark black. His face is cold with no emotion, and his body is stronger to withstand the pressure. He looks as if his personality changed into a sad soul without feelings and no cares in the world. She continues, "The cost of making these microchips are too high for us to build. However, we have improved this technology into a drink." The man held up the drink and showed it's dark forest green color. It would be horrible to drink of the bitterness of such a drinnk because of the texture in it.
The man begins, "Without this drink, you will not be able to face the evil on the other side of that door. Drink this and you will be able to conquer the other side. You will have the power to fight and all fear will leave you."
"However," She states "You will not remember anything after taking this cup. All your memories will disappear. You won't even remember this chat we had. But I promise you, with this drink, you will conquer the evil. Everyone, this is to see if you can withstand the great power and force of the Dark Lord. Drink and fight!"
One after another, the soldiers drank. Each person who drank of the dark green sludge turn into no feeling humans. Their faces become straight like robots, and their eyes turn black. Their mind becomes cleared of all memories until it comest to me. The captain counts down. 5, 4, I ask "Will I remember anything?" she replies "Only the good feelings" 3, 2, I look down into the black goope and see the genetically modified drink into tiny micro robots. 1, I take the drink into my mouth. It has a rancid taste and is cold. My eyesight goes black and I see nothing. Pitch blackness.
When I open my eyes, I am looking at the ceiling of my bedroom. WOW! I just realized that I was a child of God. Sent here to fight the enemy. Called as a soldier. I had parents the women and the man in black. The 12 were children of God. I saw the first who was called they were experimented on. (Christ) And I drank the cup of bitterness which was the veil of forgetfulness. In turn, I received a better body that could come to earth and grow. When I woke up, I realized that I was on the other side of the veil, here on this earth. And I can't remember anything of what it looks like to be in the presence of my Heavenly Father, but I can remember the good feelings, or in other words, my spirit and all the personality comes with me.
I remember this dream, and wrote it down in my journal as a TESTIMONY BUILDER!!!

Slice of Life Day 5
Today I would like to share one of my favorite poems. I can't remember when I first heard it, but I have loved it ever since.
Footprints In the Sand
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
One belonging to him, and the other belonging to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
He looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
There was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "Son, My precious child,
I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering,
When you see only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you"
-Unknown
That is so sweet! I love that! I will always think of that now when I see footprints in the sand. What a great allegory.

I decided to just let them wander, and went around to give the adult goats some breakfast. When i got inside, the babies were standing there like they had never left! it repeated for my second load of hay! It was pretty funny.

DeleteThe sun peeked its head above the mountains finding its way to the sky. Beneath the majestic sun it looked as if the world had been covered in diamond powder. Life is hard to balance sometimes. There are so many things begging for my attention. School, family history, sewing, violin, teaching music lessons, friends, and family all want so much of my time. It is ironic that being home virtually all day still leaves me with things on my to-do list. I am trying to figure out how to get a healthy balance between all of those things, and then being able to add things as they come along.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was on a road trip in Wyoming, we visited an old abandoned prison. In that prison they had a prisoner who was a good painter. They wanted him to paint murals all over the prison. He did paint murals in the cafeteria. One of the paintings had a railroad track on the left side of the painting. On the right side there was a lot of shrubbery and foliage. On the left side there was a desert. But the thing that stuck with me was that no matter where you stood it looked like you were on the right side of the tracks. I was inspired to always stay on the right side of the tracks and to always choose the right.
I went to an abandoned mall once. It was so cool and kinda scary.
DeleteThat is a really cool analogy. Thanks for sharing!
DeleteA couple years ago I was visiting my grandparents, and my grandma was driving me to get ice cream. We got lost for a long time, and my grandma got the idea to say a prayer. Being a little kid, I thought it was kind of weird to say a prayer. I thought that it wouldn't help the situation at all. But quickly after the prayer, we found our way back to her house (we decided not to try and find the store anymore). The experience changed my view on prayer as a child, and it has strengthened my spirit.

ReplyDeleteLast night in mutual, we had an activity that I had planned, and so I had to give the spiritual thought. The activity was to decorate cupcakes blindfolded. The cupcake represented your life, and the lesson was that when you were blindfolded, i.e. didn't have the guidance of God in your life, your cupcake didn't turn out very well. Afterwards we allowed everyone to take off the blindfold and decorate a different cupcake, which they were very meticulous in doing. This represented their life when they had God's guidance and support. Of course, these cupcakes turned out much better than the first cupcakes. The cupcakes made while blindfolded often were torn up by the icing knife, and all in all weren't as pretty. The cupcakes made with sight were very neat and perhaps had some meaning behind them. I made mine a Liahona cupcake :)

DeleteI love that scripture because it applies to almost anything you're struggling with.
In my house, we have a split entryway, so when you come in, there is a little 2.5'/6' tile floor and then there are stairs going up on the right and stairs going down on the left. On the right of the entryway, there is a 7.5' pony wall. Upstairs, we have a couch that is really close to it. We have a guitar hanging from a hook next to the couch, up high. So my little 2-year-old sister decided that if she climbed up onto the couch, scrambled on to the pony wall, and shimmied along it, she could get to the guitar. So she climbed up onto the couch, crawled onto the pony wall, and walked along it about a foot and then lost her balance and fell off. 7.5 feet down she fell, then cracked her head on the tile floor of the entryway. I was in Utah at the time, eating dinner at my cousin's house, and I got a call from my dad, saying, "Charlotte fell off the pony wall and hit her head on the tile next to the front door. Mom took her to the hospital. She fractured her skull from the top of her jaw to the top of her head. She will be staying the night. I don't know if she will be coming back."
ReplyDeleteI told my cousins what had happened and we decided to have a special prayer for her. She came back from the hospital the next day. Just two days after she came back, she was jumping and running all around the house like nothing had happened. I know that the Lord answered my prayer that night, and I will always know that he answers all of our prayers.
That must have been extremely scary!

Caleb Galke inspired me to write about when I was surfing in California.
ReplyDeleteSierra! Ellie! Its time to get up we are going to the beach, Ethan said. We jumped out of bed got ready and we were on our way to the beach. the sand was warm and extremely smooth. (this is the first time I have ever been to California) the sun was bright and was about to reach its highest point for the day. The waves were crashing down, the color of the water was an intense blueish, greenish color. Sierra and I grabbed our surf boards and started running towards the waves. I had never been surfing before and the only thing I could think of was Soul Surfer. I was so nervous that a shark would come. I soon got over that fear and Sierra and I started swimming towards the waves.
The Waves were crashing down, and hard. The salt water shot up our noses. (that was not so fun.) we tried swimming harder and harder, but the strength of the waves were to strong, we would get shoved under the waves, as if we were a child being drowned by someone superior than us. My arms were burning as if they were being burned. We did not give up though. Finally! we made it out past the waves. The relief was so extraordinary. We tried to catch our, the waves became uncommonly calm. I was confused, the water level started to become extremely low. We looked behind us. OH NO! our eyes wide, heart beating fast, we fell on our bellies and began to swim as fast as our tired arms could take us. Unfortunately it was not fast enough the waves were to fast. It was the beginning wave of a new set. Crash! right down on top of us. The impact of the wave was so intense it felt like the equivalent of a brick wall collapsing right on top of us, I wanted to scream but couldnt since I was under water. We were being tosed and turned under the water the cord that was attached to my leg from the surf board tangled all around me. my legs tied together. Something sharp had hit my arm. I finally found the bottom of the ocean floor again. I stood up, only to find another wave about to crash. Under the wave I went again being wrapped up in the cord. My arm was stinging. Again I recovered my balance, I looked at my arm and the fin from the surf board had scrapped my arm. Not very bad but the salt still stung it.
This did not stop me from wanting to continue surfing though. A few days later I finally figured out the right balancing combination. The first time catching a wave is magical. It is like nothing you have ever felt before. You simply glide on top of the water, no bouncing or jagged edges just gliding. Pushing past my weakness and making it strong was so worth it. All the times I was shoved under the water was worth it. I simply can not wait to return and show the, all powerful waves they cant stop me from surfing.
Man, I feel, see, and hear everything you described! Great job painting a picture in my mind!

I love seminary because, i get to see all my friends and feel the spirit. After that, I go back home, make lunch, and watch history. After history, I watch English. I can't watch it live because I'm at seminary. When I'm all done with school, I have the rest of the day to myself! I can hang out with a friend, sometimes I have lessons, or just chill. ReplyDeleteLet me tell you all a little something about myself. I LOVE PRETZELS!!! They are quite delicious, and I absolutley love them!!!!! This is really random so far, but I believe they are one of humanities best inventions! How could a sane person not love pretzels!? I mean, there are soft pretzels sold at malls all over the place, and you can not go wrong there!!!! There are some pretzels coated in cinnamon and sugar which are amaze-balls! Every time I eat them, they continue to blow my mind!!! There are also just the original pretzels with huge salt chunks that you can dip in mustard or something, and get this. I have even seen PIZZA PRETZELS!!! I would rather stick with the sugary kind, but when I tried it, it was a lot better than I thought, especially with the jalepenos... Oh yeah, and did I mention that these pretzels are HUGE!?!?! They are as big as my face!!! That may not be too hard to be bigger than my face, but impressive nonetheless. One time, my cousin and I even made some homemade pretzels with cream-cheese frosting that you could dip them in, and we even filled the pretzels themselves with the frosting so when you bit into them, the hot frosting exploded in your mouth and made your heart fly away to your happy place. Then you collapse onto the floor into a sugar coma, but that is beside the point... Now go do yourself a favor and go to Wetzel's Pretzels, or Aunt Annie's, or gee whiz do something!
I love pretzels too. Especially the soft sugary kind.

I'm so scared to be a teenager They're so weird and they're always getting in trouble. "Teenager" is like a disease. All I hear about are bad things that teenagers have done and are doing. I don't want to turn into one of them; I'm only 12!
A few weeks later...
I love being a teenager! There are so many opportunities that haven't been open to me before. So many awesome and grown up experiences. "Teenager" is only a disease if you make it that way. Yes, we can be problematic and REALLY immature. But It's an amazing time in life to find and discover who I am. I love being a teenager!!
Being a teenager is a very special time in life that you won't ever get back. I'm so glad you love it! Wonderful slice. Thank you for sharing it.
DeleteHaha! I felt the same way!!

I rolled over in my bad throwing my arm out to check my clock. As I saw the time I flew out of bed, “5:50! Seminary starts at 6!” I ran over to my sisters room and flipped her lights on and told her to get up and that we were running super late. I ran back to my bedroom and got dressed, brushed my teeth, fixed my hair and put my shoes on almost all simultaneously. Just as we were running out the door I turned my phone on and looked at the time, “Okay only 3:55 we have enou- wait a second!” I just assumed it was five because I only looked at the minutes not giving any care to the hour. “Never mind Julia, we can go back to bed.” I whispered as I spun around heading back to my room. “What?!” Julia yelled as she checked her phone for the time. “Caleb! I can’t believe you! How in the world did you do that?” Two hours later when we got up, at the right time, we just laughed about it. The saddest thing about this story is that I’ve done this same thing about five times this past month. Hopefully, I’ve learned my lesson by now.
I do that all the time.

ReplyDeleteEach one of us has moments in our life where we are in the dark. You feel like there is no hope for you. You think that it isn't worth trying to become better because it's too much work. You think that because you made a big mistake that You’re a horrible person. You may feel so much pain in your life. You don’t want to be around anyone. You feel depressed and hopeless; whenever you try, everything becomes harder. We all feel some sort of hardship in our lives. There is one person who knows exactly what we are going through. He suffered just like we do. He begged with heavenly father to take away the pain and trials. Sometimes it may seem to us that we are alone, but we never are. There is a quote that I love “When you are going through difficulty and wonder where GOD is, REMEMBER that the teacher is always quiet during the test. ~ Unknown.” The first thing I thought is, that he may be quiet but he never leaves us.
There have been many hard times in my life. One of the many things that has helped me is praying to heavenly father, even when I was questioning if he was there. I would kneel down and plead with him to help me and to let me know that he is there. I wanted to know that he wanted to help me out. I would ask him to take away the pain I was going through even if I knew that he wouldn't. I would ask why he gave me these trials. I would ask him to let me feel his love. I would ask if he was really there at all. I think all of us have one of these questions or ones like it. By the end of my really long prayer my face was always covered in tears. Every night after I prayed to him I may not have felt better, but I did always feel like I could keep trying a little longer. Heavenly Father will never say “because you have made a mistake I won't love you.” Heavenly Father won't give up on any of his children no matter what.
There are many people who have made mistakes. Without the atonement they wouldn’t be where they are now; In fact I can almost promise you that they would be the other end of the spectrum. The lord suffered so much for us so we could be happy. lets take advantage of that. The road may be bumpy and there might be some hills or even mountains but we can do it! Find something that will keep you going! Don't wait to change because later is too late for anyone!
You have a heavenly father who loves you and me! I know how hard trials can be. I have had quite a few of them. I have times where I feel like I’m getting worse and not better, or I am really depressed and feel like I can’t go on. I learned that I’m never alone and this is a fraction of my life in the eternal perspective. There is hope for everyone out there. There is a song by Hilary weeks called “never alone”
It says:
Why did this happen
Do you know what's happened to me
And Heaven were you watching
Were you watching over me
Cause the way that I've been feeling
Well I'm feeling so alone
So if you hear this prayer
And if I'm not alone
I need to know
I need to know you're there
I need something to hold on to
I need someone who will care
Carry me on
And Carry me through somehow
Make since of this pain
And show me the way
Cause when the darkness comes
I'm a prisoner to my fears
Although I'm listening the doubt is all I hear
Then I reach for your hand
and feel you reaching back
And the light returns
And I begin, I begin to understand
My soul can feel the Mercy
And the love in your plan
And when I let go
And turn all the hurt and sorrow over to you
The burden is light
And trusting I find
Though the storms roll in
And the winds of change may blow
I know you'll let them come
So that I can learn and grow
And when I reach for your hand
I feel you reaching back
And thats how I know
I am never alone
I can’t say it any better than that. He is our father. He lives and loves us and wants us to come back to him. Look up to him! Turn to the lord and he will guide you for the rest of your life!

DeleteOne summer my brother and I where hiking ridges in Idaho. We had a rather interesting pastime; we would dislodge boulders sending them flying down the mountain, and whenever possible try to demolish trees on their path of destruction. An above typical boulder we would set free would be about the size of a smart car. Most all trees were really no match, and went down with little resistance. As the boulders journeyed down the mountain they would bounce and leave rather large craters in the earth, up to a foot deep sometimes.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, as we were pursuing our destructive hobby, it just so happened that we ran across an abandoned mineshaft. My mother as I can still recall, had warned us of these. Most likely because of fatal reports of individuals and their interactions with them. So as wild crazy brothers, we decided to explore this eerie dark hole. As we descended into the partly collapsed mine, my hand hold gave way dislodging itself and crushing my brother below. Falling into the mine I was pelted by baseball sized rocks. Upon hitting the ground and restoring my situational awareness, I found the boulder I had once leaned on for support, now on my brother’s leg. Thinking nothing of myself and summoning all my strength I tried to lift the microwave sized boulder off my brother. With no success I retreated in shock, I had no thoughts, but then a thought came to me, a thought that I should say a prayer. After saying the most sincere and intense 7 second prayer ever, I tried at the boulder again to find it as light at a pillow. After casting the boulder half my size into the dark abyss, I knelt down at my brother’s side. I discovered that he was unharmed, his leg had fallen into a water eroded rut and was protected from being crushed.

ReplyDeleteToday, I am tired.
The exhaustion set in yesternoon when I willingly entered my resting chamber, yet unwillingly drifted into the world of dreams. My dear sister led me to the waking world for a brief time, until I again searched for my dreams. As I began to wade through my worries back to sleep, I discovered it to be lost. I continued to search for repose, 'mid conversation of others and the dark of night, yet when I had at last abandoned all hope of finding slumber, it claimed me for its own.
They way you worded it was amazing! good job!

ReplyDeleteThis morning I had a near death experience!
ReplyDeleteAs some of you may know Utah county has some cargo trains that travel through the valley once or twice a day. I live about a mile away from the tracks they use, and cross over them a couple dozen times per day, and its pretty rare that you will ever be stuck waiting at the tracks for them to pass.
Well, today I was driving back home from picking up my older sister from the MATC (she's a Medical Assistant), and as I approached the tracks, the red lights -- indicating a oncoming train -- started to flash. I was then faced with two crucial decisions: either slam on the brakes, or... pedal to the metal. I chose the latter. As I accelerated I had to maneuver my car into the middle of the road so my car wouldn't hit the guard rails as the closed.
A few seconds after passing the tracks I looked in my rear-view mirror and saw the train fly by at 80 mph! My reaction: "that was super cool! Just like in the movies!" My sisters reaction: "...[swallow]..." her white knuckles gripping the car indicated to me that she felt differently then me.
I guess I'm really used to situations like this because both of my older siblings have nearly killed me in their car crashes over the years (totaled at least two cars in fact). I just got her back!
BTW I am in period 4 Mrs. Jackson, or whoever is grading this.

ReplyDeleteYesterday we went to the rodeo in Houston Texas like we do every year in a row. I thought it was really awesome this year! It was military appreciation day so they had stuff like air force stimulation rides, and tanks and stuff like that. One thing I thought was really cool was at the beginning of the rodeo after they sung the national anthem the flag was lowered from the ceiling of the rodeo arena (football stadium) by soldiers sliding down with it. After a long day of walking around riding on rides and looking at animals that were being showed and stuff like that my feet really hurt, but we got to see newborn piglets and lambs the Rodeo was Super fun! So hurt feet were defiantly worth it!

ReplyDeleteI woke up this morning my room was glowing with the morning light. The sun was shining and it looked like warm weather, as soon as I walked outside the cold air encircled me reminding me it was still winter. Winter is not one of my favorite seasons and I really wish it was spring. If we could only have one season year around I would choose spring, spring is not to hot or too cold but is a perfect balance. Spring is the season of new life. Even though I would pick spring if we could only have one season I am glad that we don’t and that we have a variety of seasons. While I was writing it reminded me of a poem.
If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant;
If we did not sometimes taste of adversity,
Prosperity would not be so welcome

ReplyDeleteAang from the TV show Legend of Korra said, "When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change." I think that this is an awesome quote because sometimes we think our life is the worst when we hit our lowest point, but it is actually a time for hope because you can't get any worse, and you can only get better. This quote helps me realize that we have an opportunity and decision when we hit our lowest point. We have the opportunity to become so much better, and we can either make the decision to stay the way we are or become better people.
Really love the quote and what you have written, I totally agree all the way with this. Keep up the great work!

ReplyDeleteWe giggle together over silly stories as I read nap-time books to my little brother. After, he climbs into my parents bed and calls for me to ‘take a nap with him’. I lie down in resignation, knowing that if I refuse he’ll just climb out of the bed and play quietly with the toys on the floor the moment I leave.
As I lie there looking between my wiggly brother and the vastly interesting ceiling, Johnny shifts positions again. I close my eyes, pretending to be asleep, hoping that he’ll do the same. No such luck. He kicks me experimentally. I force myself to stay still. Next, he licks my forehead. Why? I have no idea. I open my eyes slowly, oh so slowly. Johnny giggles and lies back down.
When he finally stills, it’s only after I sing ‘Puff the Magic Dragon’ quietly and soothingly. I pull the soft, down-filled blanket over my arms. The AC has turned on, despite the snow still lingering on the ground outside. Johnny’s shifts of position have slowed.
It’s completely quiet, and my mind drifts back to when the snow coated the neighborhood. I can remember lying on my back, staring into the peaceful white-gray sky. No lawncrews, no traffic. Silence had filled the world, it seemed, and all that surrounded me was the snow-blanketed black, leafless branches. The world was silent, and I was alone in that great quiet, experiencing a peace I rarely was rarely able to embrace this fully. Even the cold could not penetrate the soothing silence.
I come back to myself. My eyelids are heavy. My body begs my mind to give into the tempting beckon of sleep, which steals ever closer. I pinch myself, knowing that I have other things to do, other things than to fall into the embrace of sleep.
But it’s so similar to the safety of snow’s silence. Sleep, my body urges. Give in. Sleep. My eyelids slip closed, and the white-gray sky fills my head.
No! I pinch myself awake. Slipping quietly out of the bed with determination, I jump at Johnny’s, “Emma?” What? I thought that he was surely fast asleep; he had been still for the past ten minutes
“I’m going to see if Mom’s home.” I whisper. His sleepy eyes slip closed again and I creep out. Sleep slips away reluctantly, along with the silent promise of snowbound peace.
I like that. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI looked down the long road that represented life. The road was full of obstacles. From where I was standing. I could see it had many branches and trash that I would have to go around. Steep hills and where in the distance. People I trusted would leave me. There would be war, and unpleasant people. I would feel sadness. I would get sick and hurt myself sometimes. Satan would do everything he could to keep me from going back home. I would have to avoid all his temptations. This journey looked hard, but I could do it. I saw all the people who would help me on my journey. I saw all the people I would help. I could see signs that would warn me when danger came near. I realized that I could run, and sing and dance. I could eat pepperoni pizza! I would have a family! I would have good times. I took a deep breath, then turned to glance at my savoir. I knew he would be with me the entire way, even if I forgot he was there. Because of him, I could make the journey home.
I was ready. I took another deep breath in, and took my first step into the journey of life.
This reminds me of patriarchal blessing! They kinda tell you what your long road will look like just like you did. good job!

Girl: Oh my! I'm lost!
*A growl is heard and a wolf steps out
Wolf: Grrrrrrrr!
Girl: AHHHHH! A WOLF!!
*the wolf then proceeds to chase the girl in circles while she is screaming
*a hunter walks up
Hunter: I'll save you lady!
*the hunter looks around a bit
Hunter: Aw man! forgot my gun... Ah! A banana tree!
*hunter takes a bannana from the tree
*hunter points the banana at the wolf
Hunter: pew pew pew!
Girl and Wolf: ....
*wolf shakes its head and walks away
Hunter: Ha! I got it!
*the girl sighs and walks away
Hunter: ...well, what am i gonna do now?
*hunter looks at the banana in his hand then peels and eats it

Each and every day we walk around in a masquerade, putting on and changing our fake faces. With colors and things to catch everyone’s eye, we sometimes forgets what we hide under the fake lies.
ReplyDeleteUnderneath it all hides the real people you can only see when the mask is taken off and the wearer exposed as a real being.
Not all wear their masks nor, do all hide their true faces; but in a world of fake faces it is hard to find true compassion in a sea of plastic, paper and conformed mimes.
Why do we hide or hold back who we are underneath our fake faces? Are we truly to afraid of the looks or stairs if we take off the masks and start really being who we are? In the moments and times we stand back or walk on if we stopped following the crowd and not simply looked on.
We are more then just fake faces to hide who we are, be brave enough to take of the fake and embrace who you are.
We need more than ever to stop following the dance the world plays of saying dress up and become one in a masquerade.
So step back, look around and take off the mask that hides who you are. We need a world full of real people with real wounds, real scars to show all others we all are unique being exactly who we are.

ReplyDeleteI'm so grateful for my sweet niece and nephew. I think one of the reasons I enjoy it so much is because I'm the youngest in my family and I've never had the experience of being a older sister. But I would say being an Aunt definitely makes up for that.
Sophie is a spunky and sassy red-head, 18 months old. I am loving watching her grow up so fast. Everyday she is learning new words, finding more things to get into, discovering new foods, and growing into a mischievous toddler. She likes things to be her way. She is so sweet and gets more than enough compliments on her tight little red curls. I can't get enough of her.
My 8 month old nephew, Kole, is just learning how things work. He is a professional army crawler and tries to follow after everything his cousin Sophie does. If he is crying or upset, all you have to do is step outside and he is as happy and content as can be.
